November update

We are now into the first week of November and most of the bookings have been completed. Last month we did a quick trip through BC delivering ticket packages to our fellow golfers and bowlers in that province. This week I am delivering packages to the Calgary golfers.

Since our Edmonton group is very large this year we are having a social so all the greater Edmonton area travelers can get together and meet each other. We are expecting about 50 golfers on November 12 at the Maverick Brewing Company between 1:30 and 4pm.

We will hand out the ticket packages to them, give them some tips and suggestions and answer any questions that they might have. There will be at least 3 people from last years group on hand to pass along their thoughts and suggestions as well.

B&B has added another condo, apartment complex in Tugan on the south end of the Gold Coast. We have not seen this property but will check it out in January. It comes recommended by the management of the Hill Apartments. It is across the street from the beach and each unit has ocean views. The two bedroom units have one bath with two entrances. There is a nice pool, BBQ area and mini tennis. I think next years clients will like this for one of their choices. It should only be a one upgrade. You can check out their web site at www.sanchelsea.com.au

We are working on the day cruise details for this coming February. We are planning a full day cruise to Stradbrooke Island with a stop at Sanctuary Cove on the way back. Drinks will be available on the boat and lunch can be purchased at Stradbrooke Island. The boat will hold 100 people so lots of room for us. We will be the only group using it. I think the cost will only be $17.50 a person. Seems like a good bargain.

I will also check the boat out in January before you arrive.

Our dates for the cruise right now is Feb 20th and the golf tournament is Feb 13th.

We will be asking the group if they are interested in paying up front for both the cruise and the golf tournament. The golf is $35 a person and cruise is $17.50. This way I will know how many to book for and not have collect money over there.

So far this year we have 60 from greater Edmonton, 10 from Calgary, 6 from southern Alberta, 12 from BC and 2 from Ontario. All the travellers going to Australia are going to the Gold Coast. The Sunshine Coast does not seem to be too attractive. We do continue to offer it because that is where we can offer unlimited golf at our introductory price.

We 10 people just going to NZ, 22 doing Australia and NZ, 8 returning from Sydney, 2 returning from Adelaide, 2 from Melbourne and 44 from Brisbane.
